The photos online looked very different from the place in person. I was there with five families and lots of kids. Our room had no hot water in the shower, and the leaking air conditioner flooded the floor. One woman in our group slipped because of it. The service was really bad. The whole group got the impression that they treat us Brazilians differently from Argentinians, possibly because they have an arrangement with an agency from there. A warning to Brazilians: even though this is our country, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We left angry, and you might too.

We had the best week of my life at Paraíso Geribá. It’s a peaceful, comfortable dream of an inn, surrounded by lush plants, and we even had monkeys come by. The staff are incredibly kind, loving, and helpful, and the food was divine. I’ll be back!

Geribá Beach is just three blocks away, and the main avenue is five blocks away, so it’s easy to get around Buzios and the rest of the peninsula. The inn also helped us arrange tours. The food was delicious, and everyone was attentive and friendly. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend it.

The packed lunches were a lifesaver on excursion days, when lunch isn’t served until around 4 pm. They had everything ready early, so we could eat breakfast before heading out, even when we left around 7, before the dining room opened. The staff prepared it all for us, which made it easy to enjoy the day. The beach is beautiful and very close, with a beach bar where you can rent umbrellas and other things. Our room was spacious, super comfortable, and spotless, with all the amenities. Service was top-notch and the atmosphere felt incredibly welcoming. We had a wonderful time!

Rocío, the team leader, was always ready with suggestions, help, or a friendly chat. Andrea and Ana paid close attention to anything we needed, and thanks to Agustina, Fausto, and the Chef for the delicious, generous meals. The inn feels bright and youthful, like a breath of fresh air. Our room was spotless, with new, high-quality linens. It got lots of light, but the curtains made it dark enough for a good night’s sleep. Definitely somewhere I’d return to.
