The receptionists were really helpful and friendly, and the pousada is simple but in a good location. Still, I felt it was disrespectful that they hadn't told us about some problems with the facilities. At check-in, they said the previous guests had broken the bed and that it had already been repaired. Later we found out they had just propped it up with bricks and wooden slats. On our last day, we also discovered there was no water outside because the valve had been shut to reduce trouble with the exterior pipes. I stayed during high season, but that doesn't excuse the neglect of the property's physical condition.

They welcomed me politely and kindly, but Casa do Torrely didn't really impress me. It's affordable and the location is accessible, though there's no parking, so cars are left on the street. Breakfast was basic and portioned out at the table, with no variety to choose from. The same person serves breakfast and handles reception. My bathroom had a leak, and the sink drained very slowly because it was clogged. The place needs more upkeep. A mirror in the room would help, and keeping spare toilet paper there would save guests from having to ask. They could also use hairnets when handling food, cut the fruits that are difficult to eat with the skin on, which would help guests with children, and include room cleaning at least once every two nights. Looking at these details could help them attract more guests.

We felt at home thanks to the really friendly, helpful staff, especially on our first trip to Buzios. Everything was clean and had a nice, harmonious feel, and breakfast was 10/10. We had a wonderful stay and will be back!

Just a few minutes on foot from Praia Geriba, which I personally think is the most beautiful beach in Búzios. This was a very comfortable, lovely pousada, and they serve a great breakfast. They make you feel like family. Thanks Ali, Meli, and especially Cami! I’d gladly come back.

In room n°07, the mattress wasn't very comfortable and the shower pressure was weak. On the plus side, the location is excellent, the cleaning was thorough, and breakfast is great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive.
