The hosts were warm, kind, and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and clean. I stayed two nights and would happily recommend it. The breakfast buffet was tasty, too.

We stayed for a week and had excellent service. The room was spotless and tidy, and breakfast was very complete. When we had a late departure on checkout day, they kept our luggage for us and even let us take a shower. I only wished there had been a full-length mirror in the room. It's also a 20-minute walk from Rua. Still, everything else was fantastic, and I'd definitely return.

The rooftop view was spectacular, and we loved how quiet the area was at night. Blue Ocean is close to João Fernandes Beach and Ossos and Azeda/Azedinha Beaches, and you can walk to Rua das Dedras as well. Our family really enjoyed the spacious, clean, comfortable rooms and the friendly staff. The inn serves breakfast only, no restaurant, and the breakfast is simple but tasty. It starts at 8:00 AM, though; with the sun coming up so early in Brazil, starting at 7:00 AM would be better. The architecture is beautiful, but there are lots of stairs and inclines, so it won't work well for guests with mobility issues. We were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend Blue Ocean Inn.
