The team came through for us one more time when we mentioned our early departure, two hours before regular breakfast. Josue and the others had breakfast ready just for us, with a big smile. He'd already been treating me like a visiting relative since we arrived, helping with anything we needed. Our Portuguese is terrible, but his Spanish is very good. When the air conditioning stopped one evening, he brought two fans and offered to move furniture so we could be comfortable in another room. We managed fine as the evenings cool off, and the next day we moved to a room with super-cool a/c. The staff even found my son's lost swim shirt, and Josue helped us order pizza when we couldn't speak Portuguese. At first we were unsure about staying because we always check for off-street parking, but there was a nice wall and sturdy locking gate to keep our car safe overnight. It's a small place, about 12 or 14 units, with a small staff who work well together. The pool is great, and the rooms are clean and roomy, with a little fridge and TV. It's peaceful and tranquil, with a sky full of stars at night. Excellent people and facilities!
