The room was comfortable enough for a few days, and breakfast was decent. Staff were friendly throughout, and the location is great. For a short visit, I was happy with the stay.

There's a pleasant little square nearby, and on Thursdays we enjoyed its food and crafts fair. The place itself is quiet and comfortable, with a nice pool and a sunbathing area with hammocks and loungers. Breakfast had a good range of options. For the price, it covered what I needed, though the room was fairly basic, the mattress wasn't very comfortable, and the air conditioner was a bit noisy.

The location is the main thing this place has going for it, close to the main streets, and breakfast had a decent variety. Beyond that, the cleanliness was shockingly bad from the day we arrived, though the common areas were an exception. Our toilet smelled strongly of urine and had yellow stains. When we came back, it looked exactly the same, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned. I left the seat up and the bathroom door open, practically put up a note saying "clean me," and still had the same problem. The shower and tile grout were moldy. They left two glasses and a plate in the room, but the glasses had some kind of white powder on them. We stayed ten nights, and the sheets were changed only twice. I even took a photo because the dirt was unbelievable. One day I removed them and asked for clean ones, but they refused because it wasn't a scheduled change day. I ended up sleeping without pillowcases because the sheets looked cleaner. They warn that stained sheets incur a fine, yet ours were old, torn, worn out, and dirty from the start. Cleaning was very poor. We spilled a lot of sugar on the floor before going out, and hours later, after the room had supposedly been cleaned, the pile was still there. I asked for a broom and swept the room and bathroom myself because there was still dirt. The pool was nice, but its walls had mold and the usual slimy residue. One afternoon or evening, I overheard the receptionist tell someone that other guests had complained about the dirt too. That wasn't us. I'd seen other guests' complaints dismissed with, "You can't be talking about their pousada," but after staying there, I understood those guests were right. For this price, there are many other guesthouses that are surely better. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

We spent six excellent days in Búzios, staying at this calm, quiet pousada from February 3 to 8, 2026. It's well placed, about 1 km from the popular Rua das Pedras and around 600 meters from Ferradura beach. On Thursdays there's a lovely fair almost across the street, with attractions, crafts, and local food. For someone looking to sleep and rest after outings and beaches, the facilities were just right. The pool, Wi-Fi, parking, shower, towels, air conditioning, and cleaning were all as described at check-in. Breakfast was very good.

There are lots of spaces for different ages and activities, and the place feels comfortable, bright, clean, and spacious. The pool is large and spotless. I also liked the breakfast room overlooking the street and its lovely decor. Breakfast was all homemade, with plenty to choose from, including a gluten-free cake and several juices. The people preparing it clearly take care with everything.
