Pousada Mallorca

It was OK.

Everything was well arranged, and the rooms were always clean. The setting was excellent and breakfast very good. Dona Neide and her husband were polite and always ready to help. The reception team were excellent too, especially Nazaré, who's really lovely, and the night staff as well. I recommend the pousada. Congratulations to everyone. A thousand out of a thousand.

The breakfast had plenty of variety and was very well prepared, and the staff were helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, with a mini-fridge that gets ice cold and very good air conditioning. The only thing I'd point out is that the shower stall is small, especially for two people. It's in Manguinhos, a bit far from the center, but the drive takes under 10 minutes. It's a nice choice if you prefer a quieter area to the bustle downtown. There are supermarkets, ATMs, and restaurants nearby, and Porto da Barra is very close. I have no complaints about my stay.

I liked the pousada, though there were a few things that bothered me. The mattress was awful, like an inflatable one, and I found it really uncomfortable. There were lots of ants in the bedroom cupboards, and the old outlets weren't suitable for charging a phone. Breakfast starts pretty late, which was a problem for me since I like to get to the beach early. Otherwise, it's a good place. Breakfast was good, and the bathroom and security were OK.
