Pousada Martin Pescador

Martin Pescador has a lovely seaside setting, with the Mata all around, and the layout and architecture reminded me of the Greek coast. I stayed almost a week over Carnaval in 2019 and was genuinely surprised by how much I liked the place. The rooms were spacious, clean, airy, and bright. The Stafs were a real bonus, and manager Roberta treated everyone like family, which made us feel comfortable. I’d have stayed another week if work hadn’t called me back. Hope to return soon.

My wife and I loved how calm and quiet it was here. The bathroom could be better, though, and the rooms need some maintenance: the ceiling fan didn’t work, the shower sprayed sideways, and the TV remote was useless. I’d come back for the pleasant setting, but I’d also like to try some other pousadas.

The rooms are individual and have ocean views, and the inn itself is lovely, surrounded by beautiful scenery and greenery. I’d recommend it, though it could use some upkeep and a better breakfast.

All the accommodations have a sea view, and the service was high quality, friendly, and respectful. We had a wonderful time, especially with that fantastic sunset view in Búzios!!!
