Solar Dos Corais

The setting is peaceful, with no loud music, and there's nice landscaping and chairs for relaxing. The location is handy too, near Rua das Pedras, Praia da Ferradura, and a park for children. The pool is a good size, with shallow and deep sections. I liked that breakfast was more natural. Our room was comfortable, with air conditioning that cooled well and a ceiling fan. The bathroom had a good-sized sink and a roomy shower enclosure, plus an electric heated shower and shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap.

The grounds have a lovely green area that makes the place feel peaceful and close to nature. The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly. The pool was always clean, and the rooms were cleaned every day, so they'd be tidy whenever we returned from the beach. Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and air conditioning were provided, which was especially helpful on hot days. I stayed 6 days. Breakfast was very good, but the choices never changed, so more variety would be nice. Better quality mattresses would also be an improvement. Still, it worked well for me. If you're after a family-friendly, rustic, peaceful place to stay in Búzios, I recommend it.

The location was the good part, and the staff were polite and worked hard to keep things running. But we spent 3 nights here and the inn fell short in several ways. The mattresses had no protectors, and the pillows and bedding were all old. The bathroom smelled like a septic tank, and the odor got into the room. Breakfast had very little variety, with the same menu on all three days, and was pretty poor. The accommodations looked old and didn't match the photos. The pousada needs renovating, and I wouldn't recommend it.

A great place to unwind in Búzios. The staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was great, and it felt family oriented. We found it exceptional value for money, and we'll definitely come back. I'll recommend it to all my friends visiting the city.
