The location is good, and the design makes a nice first impression. Look closer, though, and it feels run down, with lots of quick fixes. We checked in after sunset and stayed in room 16, which smelled of mould. In the morning we saw patches painted over across the walls in both the room and bathroom. All our clothes had to be washed when we got home, and the smell still lingers on our luggage. We never received the soap toiletries either. Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10:00, but the buffet wasn’t refilled after 9:00. When we asked at 9 if more food was coming, we were told breakfast was almost over. Security felt odd too. Staff encouraged guests to leave their keys at reception, which is fine, but when we came back, keys for many rooms, with numbered keychains, were scattered on the counter with no staff in sight. That happened every day we stayed. The room manual was basically two A4 pages of warnings about charges for damage, including 30R$ for any makeup mark on a towel. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

A nice, budget-friendly place in Porto Seguro. The food was a little disappointing, and there were fruit flies on the fruit a few times, but overall it wasn’t a bad place.

The afternoon cake and coffee were a lovely extra, and the heated pool was a great place to unwind after the beach. Staff were warm and helpful throughout, too. My room felt newly renovated, with a really comfortable bed, and the location made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Breakfast was generous and very good. I had a great stay and would happily come back.
