Pousada Manga Rosa

The pool was lovely, and the outdoor area was beautiful, with so many well-kept plants and flowers. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was good too. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the girls made tapioca and cuscuz fresh to order. The location is wonderful, right by Mucuge but still very quiet. The inn is simple, but such a nice place. I felt super at home and hope to return soon, haha. Dona Aritana would chat with everyone at breakfast, was lovely to me every time, and helped me so much with tips. Thank you!!!

The room was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a hair dryer. It also had a minibar, air conditioning and TV, but the Wi-Fi didn't work properly. Breakfast was very good and they serve tapioca. The pool is open from 8 to 20, and the service was very good. The inn is central, close to shops, bars, restaurants and lots of places to eat. The entrance looks more like someone's house than an inn, haha. I forgot to take more pictures of the place. The main drawback for me was the distance to the beach. According to GPS, it's about 1.2 km, so walking takes some effort. The nearest beach, Mucugê, was very hectic, with so many beach stalls that you couldn't see the beach, plus chaotic traffic with vehicles and pedestrians. Luckily I discovered Praia dos Pescadores, which was beautiful and peaceful, completely different from the first one. It's still quite a walk, though, and there's a substantial flight of stairs to go down, which is hard for anyone with limited mobility. There's another way to get there, but it's even farther. For anyone traveling on foot from Arraial to Porto Seguro, the fastest and cheapest way is by ferry. Take a van to the ferry, which cost me 5.00. The trip there is free, and you only pay for the return. Ferries run all day. Once you get off, take a local bus or order a car through an app. Some people offer very overpriced rides right when you get off the ferry, so it's not worth paying them. Uber is cheaper.

So much care and warmth from everyone, and it's truly close to everything. The owner, Hércules, was very flexible, and breakfast was wonderful. A lovely inn. I highly recommend it, go without hesitation!

I love this inn. Right in the middle of Arraial, clean and quiet for sleeping, with really attentive people. The breakfast is simple but very tasty.
