Pousada Recanto do Mucugê

Fantastic.

Breakfast was generous and tasty, and everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. It’s also very clean. The location makes it easy to get to the city center, Mucugê Beach, and the eco-park. Just pack your own toiletries, since the room doesn’t come with shampoo, conditioner, or similar items. We had a lovely stay and I’d recommend it.

We had such restful days here and made some lovely memories. The warm welcome and the care in all the small details made the place feel both charming and peaceful, just right for recharging. Everything was immaculate, and the atmosphere felt like a real retreat. Thank you, Pousada Recanto do Mucugê, for looking after us so well. I’m already wondering when I can come back.

We spent New Year’s 2025 here and paid 9,000 in cash because reception required it. They wouldn’t even accept Pix, and we weren’t given an invoice. Our family of six was put in one family room with two beds and two thin mattresses. The facilities were old, the room had no window, and the shower was either scalding or cold, with no setting in between. There were exposed wires, and the mattress was so soft that it sank badly when you lay down. Breakfast was very poor, with the same limited options every day. The staff were also very bad-tempered and seemed unwilling to help. It’s a shame because the location is excellent, and they should invest some of the money they receive. I’ll never bring my family back.
