I stayed while they were changing management after a terrible embezzlement story. The Argentinians, who had come off worse in that situation, were much appreciated by the local customers, and they were why I stayed. When I first dealt with the actual owners, they mistook me for a cleaner, treated me like I was beneath them, then ignored me as though they were doing me a favor. I paid good money for the room and got discrimination and a*holeness in return. I took two stars off for that, so the three stars are only for the location and room. I hope this was an isolated incident and that they treat you better if you book here.

The noise was unbearable. Verde Agua has an outdoor party area that plays music so loudly you can't even hear yourself think. We could hear it from a kilometer away, and it went on until 3 a.m. There was no way to sleep. When we asked them to turn it down, they basically told us to f*** off. On top of that, the place was full of aedes aegypti mosquitoes, which carry Zika, dengue and chikungunya. It was the worst experience ever. There are plenty of other places around, so make sure you stay nowhere near this one if you want to sleep.
