Villa Maritaca

Vila Maritaca is in a lovely setting, close to supermarkets and the conveniences of central Arraial. The atmosphere feels pleasant and family friendly. Under Miraldo's management, the service is impeccable, and he works hard to make sure guests are well looked after.

We stayed in Beija-Flor and Jandaia, and the outdoor pool area was lovely. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and everything felt new; the bedrooms were comfortable too. It’s also in a great spot, so we walked to lots of places. Marcelo gave us excellent service. We’ll definitely be back.

We came as a large group and spent a week at villa Maritaca, which has four houses, a pool deck and gourmet area, plus a spa with whirlpool tubs and a sauna. It’s a peaceful place about a five-minute walk from the center of Arraial. In the mornings, birds and little monkeys would come by while we had breakfast in the gourmet area. The whole property is comfortable and set up for guests to unwind, and it’s adapted for children, though the stairs in the houses have no handrails and could be risky for small kids. The owner was available and quick to respond to our requests. The caretaker was very considerate and discreet, but ready to help sort out any problem.

We loved our stay and hope to return soon. The views from Jandaia and Sabia, facing the pool deck with green woods behind it, were beautiful. The houses are close to everything: there’s a produce shop and distributor on the same street, we walked to Mucuge street, and drove to the beaches. Our group of 14 stayed in two houses, and there would have been room for around 19. The shared gourmet area wasn’t needed since the house itself had so much equipment. The kitchen had an air fryer, blender, sandwich maker, good large pots, paper towels, dish towels, and garbage bags. The private barbecue area worked perfectly for us. Bedrooms were spacious, with good beds, bathrooms, air conditioning, and quality linens and towels. There was also a hair dryer, portable crib, vacuum, washing machine, and TV with streaming, so we didn’t miss a thing. Marcelo was helpful during booking, and Miraldo welcomed us warmly. They answered all our questions quickly and kindly.
