Pousada Caminho do Sol

The hotel is decent and in a good location, though my room faced the main street and afternoon noise could get really loud. If you want a nap then, ask for an inner room. The restaurant is the star. Everything I tried was outstanding, like a five-star place, and the ceviche was my favorite starter. So good!

For the price, this hotel is fine, and the location is perfect. My room didn't smell musty or bad, which was a relief. I did find an empty bottle in the bathroom, though, so it either wasn't cleaned properly or that spot was missed. Even so, I'd stay again.

I only had two days to enjoy my stay, and the service spoiled them. I was extremely disappointed with the hotel and its people. They were very unprofessional and seemed to care only about getting money from guests for mistakes they themselves made. I don't recommend the place or the restaurant.

The restaurant is worth considering for dinner: the food and the view across Arraial do Cabo were both wonderful. The inn is up a hill, just steps from Praia Grande and a short walk from the town center. Breakfast was lovely, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Isabella. As an American traveling alone, I wanted somewhere clean, safe, and comfortable in Arraial do Cabo. Caminho do Sol seemed to meet those needs from the reviews I read, and it lived up to them. I'll definitely stay again when I return.
