Dom Yargo II

We were welcomed so warmly, and the apartment had everything we needed. The view was wonderful, and Prainha is nearby. The only small letdown was the very weak internet, since our friend was working online even while on vacation. Apart from that, everything was lovely, and I'll definitely come back.

The staff were very friendly, but paying R$725 for two nights and getting this was incredibly disappointing. We stayed in apartment 404. I asked if we could check in at 1 p.m.; they couldn't allow it because guests were leaving and the apartment needed cleaning. That was understandable and matched what Booking had said. They even offered us a fridge to store our things, which was helpful. The problem was that they said it would be ready by 3, but when we arrived at 3:30 the bathrooms were disgusting. The toilets reeked of urine, the floor was sticky, and there was long hair everywhere from other guests. There was sand throughout the apartment, and the kitchen sink was dirty too. I messaged asking for cleaning supplies and sent photos. Later, when I went out to buy something, I asked them to leave supplies by the door so I could clean it myself. They probably forgot, because nothing was there. Late that night they offered to send someone the next day, but didn't set a time. I wasn't going to spend the day waiting and miss the beach for cleaning that should have happened before I arrived, especially since we were only staying two nights. I wanted to leave, but didn't want to waste the trip. The place has good facilities, but at around R$360 a night, with everything filthy, I can't recommend it. Dirty is one thing, this was disgusting. It wouldn't take much to scrub things with bleach, or they could have left some in the apartment and I'd have done it myself. There weren't any blankets either, not in the other double room or for the single beds, and we were four people. This was the worst place we've stayed.

Yargo looked after us and was very kind and helpful. The place is good, well located, and delivers what it promises. One of the rooms was being renovated, but that didn't cause us a problem. The washing machine shown in the photos wasn't there. Aside from those details, everything was perfect, including the wifi and smart TV.

I've stayed at the Dom Yargo apartments twice, and from what I found, they offer the best value for money. The apartments are very clean, service is great, and they're right beside Prainha. The furniture is well kept, and Mr. Walter was always there to help when I needed something. He's a great professional. I recommend the place.
