The main plus is how close it is to Praia Grande, a great beach with lots of food and entertainment options. But there was plenty that could be better. My room smelled moldy and wasn't as clean as it should have been. The service fell short, especially at breakfast: the choices were very limited, and the food wasn't replenished often.

I stayed at the pousada and left behind a coat I loved. At the time, they told me they'd keep it for as long as needed. Recently, when I contacted the owners to collect it, they were extremely rude and said they had no obligation to store anything. Of course they kept the coat; I can't see another reason they wouldn't return it. It's a shame, both their stance and the way they treat people. I'll never go back, and I don't recommend the place.
