The location was the main thing going for this place, but it felt like nobody cared for it. We stayed in room 315 from the 14th to the 17th, and the lack of cleanliness and staff care was hard to ignore, even though the lodging was simple and inexpensive. With better upkeep, it could be a good stay. We arrived late in the day on a tour, and the staff complained about our arrival time because they still had time to have dinner. One employee said they would be leaving at 7:00 because of us. The rooms were basic, with old bedding, and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the bedroom. There was no toilet paper, so we had to go downstairs and ask the receptionist. That could have been a real problem if we had already used the bathroom. Breakfast was only available while they were putting it out. Once it was gone, that was it. The attendants were rude and mistreated us several times. We also heard employees arguing with each other and making comments loud enough for guests to hear. The lunch counter sauces were left unrefrigerated, and the place was not clean. It seemed to need better management and more care from the staff.

The reception staff were pleasant, and the location is good. The rest of the stay needed more care. Breakfast had little variety, the cups and plates were served wet, and the dining room smelled bad. The sheets were worn and torn, there was no room service, and privacy was lacking. The suite door opened straight onto the restaurant, so mornings were noisy. There was also an improvised bunk bed in the room with no ladder. I wouldn't recommend it.

We drove 700 km hoping for some time to relax, then found a guesthouse that didn't cover even the basics. At check-in, some of the rooms we'd requested weren't available, and they wanted to send us to another inn. The place was dirty throughout. There were cockroaches and ants in the rooms, damaged curtains, and a blanket hung over the window to block it. We didn't even dare use the air conditioner, since they hadn't managed to clean the easy things. Even after we asked, there was no room service. On the second day I went to get a broom myself to tidy up. Doors creaked all night, and breakfast was awful. I couldn't bring myself to try it: the bread was limp, and the cold cuts and fruit looked old. This place showed no basic respect for its guests.

I've never had a worse experience. The hotel was neglected, the rooms were awful, and the bathrooms stank. The air conditioner looked like it was from the 60s and was louder than a chainsaw. The bed and bath linens smelled bad and looked as if they were things guests had left behind. Breakfast was very poor too, with green papaya so unripe it was still oozing milk. The staff were untrained and rude.

Breakfast was good, and the room was clean, though it smelled strongly of chlorine. The air conditioner was only so-so, but the ceiling fan did the job.
