Hotel Patropi

The hotel building is attractive and well maintained, but our stay felt quite impersonal. There isn't a staff member stationed at the parking area, so at any hour you have to ask reception to send someone to open it. That was a hassle. We arrived around 2 a.m. on January 1 and had a very hard time getting into the parking lot. When we raised it with the manager, we were told everything was fine and that they couldn't leave an employee at the entrance or have company there. The explanation wasn't convincing, and there was no real willingness to listen or address the complaint. Payment was another problem: they accept neither cards nor Pix, only cash, which is a major inconvenience these days. Despite the good physical setup, the service, communication, and flexibility fell short, especially over New Year's.

The window was dirty, and the fan and room were dusty. The bed was propped up on blocks.

It's good value, with solid facilities and a great location. I'd recommend it.

I didn't go in because a communication mix-up meant there wasn't a room for me. The guy on WhatsApp was polite and kindhearted, though. I wish him and his family success and good health.
