The owner, Sr. Luiz, was very present and clearly puts in a lot of effort to make the stay a good one. I also felt well looked after with my dietary restrictions. The chef is creative and well prepared to handle different needs, and the menu is wonderful. The gardens are well kept, the pools too, and the natural setting is beautiful. There’s a trail, but you need to arrange a guide on site. It’s peaceful, with an incredible sunset and stars.

My family stayed at this inn, and we had to cancel our last night because of an unforeseen issue. They wouldn’t refund the money, but said they’d give me credit to use later. I explained that I live abroad and only come once a year, and they assured me that wouldn’t be a problem. When I later tried to use the credit on one of those trips, they refused. I even asked if I could use it for a pool day pass with my son, which cost less than the night I’d paid for, but they still said no and told me the credit had expired. I’d warned them this could happen because I live abroad, and they said it wouldn’t be an issue. Customers don’t seem to come first here. My family won’t return after being treated this way for asking to use something I was entitled to.
