The staff are delightful, and the restaurant team serves delicious meals. The Batman makes great cocktails, and the little frogs help keep the mosquitoes down a bit. This boutique retreat feels like a jewel, with thoughtful, artistic touches throughout the grounds and rooms.

The warm welcome from every staff member impressed us most, even more than the wonderful, cozy facilities. We’ll definitely return to Atins and choose Anacardier again.

The work around the property was the part that really marred our stay. At nearly 6 in the morning, we’d open the window and see construction workers there. They were also around the gym, at breakfast, and when we came back from the beach for a lovely swim. On our last late afternoon, men were working right on the pool deck. It felt uncomfortable trying to relax beside people working in the hot sun, and awkward for my wife to be there in a bikini. We weren’t at the inn all day, just there at ordinary times, but even those few moments bothered us enough to write. We learned the work was installing an irrigation system in the garden, which is clearly an important part of the property. Still, we feel maintenance like that should be done when there are no guests. There was no need to put us through that inconvenience and embarrassment. We spent three nights here last September, just after walking across the Lençóis. Arriving in Atins and finding such good taste, comfort, coziness, and cleanliness was a real pleasure. The food was spectacular. Breakfast and the restaurant dishes we tried were excellent, and the bar team deserves special mention. The guys were very well trained, an 11 out of 10. Reception was good during our stay, and the team was friendly, though not very interested in the guest experience. We also found thoughtful little treats on our bed each night after dinner, which always cheered us up, and the late checkout they offered was a big help. I hope this feedback helps Anacardier build a record of excellent hospitality and remain a place where guests leave with happy memories. I’m posting it here because no one replied to my email after six months.

The restaurant was the best in Atins, with a very attentive chef who took great care with the dishes. The architecture is welcoming and well done, too. Our stay was wonderful, with lots of care and attention to detail. Manager Carol was professional and went out of her way to help with everything our family asked for. I highly recommend this place.
