We spent five nights in a magical suite on a little private hilltop. It had an outdoor shower and a big terrace where we could dry our kite gear. There was also a pool, which only a few places in Atins have. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very kind; reception was especially helpful. The beach is 300m away, but that walk isn't ideal with kite gear, and the sand gets really hot in the daytime. Shoes or socks help, unless you just embrace the suck. Some ATV drivers will take you to the beach, and the downwind support vehicles will pick you up at the pousada.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Lagoa Do Vento, a little piece of paradise with service second to none. Ruanna in particular was an absolute gem, the hardest-working and most attentive host we've ever met. Nothing was too much trouble, and her fluent English was a real help. She made us feel special and took care of everything. Thank you, Ruanna. You'll love staying here.

The breakfast was generous and set us up well for our outings, and the pool area was a great place to unwind. We found everything clean, with a comfortable bed and a really good shower. Ana welcomed us warmly, and the whole team was helpful, especially with tour suggestions and answering questions about how to make the most of our time in Atins. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the pousada itself felt cozy. We had an excellent stay at Pousada Lago dos Ventos, highly recommend it.
