The bakery nearby and the restaurant serving lunch and packed meals were handy. We stayed two nights in a room for four, with a shared microwave, but no bath towels were provided. When we asked for an extra toilet roll, they refused, and a bin and sink in the room would have been useful. They say coffee is available to buy, though it rarely seems to be. Carol and Rosivaldo were kind and efficient; the other night-shift employee was extremely rude.

The room floor looked like it hadn't even been swept, and the bathroom walls were covered in hair, as if someone had shaved there. The sink was stained and there was no bathroom bin. Service was pretty mediocre, and the place was dirty. Everything costs extra: towels are R$20,00 each, and luggage storage is R20,00 per bag, for guests only. If you're coming as a group, arrive 10 minutes early so everyone can be registered.
