The location is good, close to the beach, but the condition and cleanliness of the place were very disappointing. We stayed in AP 501. The refrigerator had rust spots, the handle on the bedroom divider door was broken, and the door kept sticking. There were also lots of urban pests, especially mosquitoes. Breakfast could have been better. What disappointed me most was using the apartment's barbecue: on both the second day and the last day, two cockroaches appeared while we were using it, and I had to kill them. If anyone says insects are to be expected because the place is near woodland, cockroaches and mosquitoes are urban pests. Basic pest control and cleaning would prevent them, and this shouldn't happen at an inn. I found it outrageous. I know my consumer rights, but chose to stay without complaining because BC is a great place. The inn still has a responsibility to maintain its cleanliness and condition. I will never come back, and there's no need to contact me.
