Getting to the hotel was difficult because Christmas festivities had several streets closed. It’s near one of the city’s main squares, and the hotel attendant had to give us an alternate route, including going the wrong way down a street, so we could arrive. The hotel is simple but clean, with a good shower and a spacious bathroom that’s poorly laid out. We only stayed a few hours to sleep before continuing our trip. It was a good stay. We left before breakfast, so I can’t comment on it.

The hotel is attractive, and the room smelled really nice. Unfortunately, I closed the window and bathroom door to sleep, then woke up to a strong urine smell in the bathroom. It was absolutely spotless, though, so I think the odor came from the drain beside the toilet. Awful. Breakfast was very basic, too basic for a hotel, and I didn’t like it.

The location is excellent, and the room was cozy. Breakfast was simple but served in good portions. I had a very pleasant stay, and Elizabeth was especially attentive, polite, and helpful.

Look elsewhere. The room had only one power outlet, the furniture was falling apart, and the TV didn’t work properly. You also have to pay to park.

It’s a very peaceful place. If you’re looking for quiet and calm, you’ll find it there.
