Fantastic!

The one person who treated us well was the waiter. Everything else was awful. The room they chose for us was old, dirty, and smelly. The minibar stank of spoiled food, dirty water came from the sink, the shower stall was too small even for a child, the blankets were terrible, there was no air conditioning, and the TV only showed Chaves. The hallway smelled like sewage, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the beds seemed to have mites or bedbugs, whatever they were, they gave me an allergic reaction. The accommodations felt abandoned, and everything smelled and was dirty. At breakfast there was hardly anything, and we had to hunt for clean plates and cutlery because what they put out was greasy. The site and Instagram make it look like a lovely weekend spot with lots of activities, but there was nothing to do. The bikes were old. Their idea of a beach tennis court was construction sand, a net, and a plastic ball; the balls were flat. What they called “skiunda” was a dry tarp stretched on the ground, where you had to scrape your backside to slide, if you could slide at all. The zip line was a tiny rope, with no one to help you put on the gear, and you just swung there trying to reach the other side. The kayaks were dirty, the life jackets filthy and smelly, and a board was broken. Even the pools couldn’t make up for it. The outdoor pool was filthy, with dirt everywhere, and the old chairs around it were dirty too. The indoor pool was the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. You could see grease and grime in the water. When they cleaned it, they only removed rubbish from the edges and didn’t clean the water. It smelled strongly of chlorine, as if to cover up how filthy the place was. Couples were exchanging “affection” in the water in broad daylight, with families and children around, and nobody did anything. They claim there’s a pool bar, but there isn’t. The drinks shown on the site were another lie: they came in plastic cups, tasted bad, and took hours to arrive. I checked the site and Instagram and thought, what a beautiful place to spend the weekend. Then we spent our hard-earned money and were treated badly from the intercom through to reception by someone who calls himself the “manager” and had no basic manners. According to him, if you’re bothered, you can just leave. The site advertises activities that they don’t provide. If you want a bad night’s sleep, bad food, a bad day, and rude treatment, this is the place to go. Otherwise, don’t waste your time or money.
