Hotel Rio Grande

Great.

Wonderful stay! The team was excellent, breakfast was exceptional, and the room was clean and cozy, with a wardrobe. I recommend it.

The breakfast was pretty ordinary, and the garage was narrow and awkward to use. For the nightly price, the value just isn't there. The bedding and towels are hung out to dry there, so they get dusty from passing cars, and there were lots of personal clothes washed and left out too. The bathroom was old, the flush button cover was missing, the shower enclosure leaked and flooded the floor, and the tiles were covered in mold. We arrived at 3 p.m. with a reservation but still had to wait because the room was supposedly being “cleaned.” They'd left only one towel, so we had to ask for another. We later requested blankets, but they only gave us single-size ones. The owner was rude when dealing with an issue that had started with our reservation, and he had access to the booking details. A very poor stay for the price. Never again.

I spent 10 days here for work and came back again, so I definitely recommend it. The front desk staff were all polite and helpful, the location is excellent, and the cleanliness and hygiene were exemplary. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a minibar all get a 10 from me. Breakfast was complete, with a variety of fruit, breads, savory snacks, an espresso machine, cappuccino, fresh juices, yogurt, and plenty more. Excellent value for money. Easily the best hotel in Barreiras!
