It was quiet and cozy, with lots of rooms. There are several businesses and restaurants right next door.

It’s clean and has no bad smell, and the location is handy for getting to restaurants. The price works better when splitting it with a group, but I wouldn’t recommend going alone. The place isn’t comfortable, the bathrooms are terrible, and the mattresses are very thin.

We ended up leaving to get breakfast somewhere else before continuing our drive, which delayed the trip. I’d only expected the basics, but even that was missing. For R$ 150, the stay was not cheap, and the bare minimum in comfort, cleanliness, and food quality wasn’t there. Being a simple, family-run place doesn’t excuse that. The nightmare started after a long drive: we’d chosen it for an overnight stop at a time when we couldn’t find a reasonably priced option. Barreiras has expensive hotels that often don’t offer much quality, and we were tired enough to sleep despite the bathroom tiles being grimy, the mattress being awful, and the pillows being moldy beneath their white pillowcases. Breakfast was the bigger shock. There was no protein at all, no cheese or eggs. The cassava was cold, hard, and awful, as if it had been reheated several times over a few days. They also had mortadella, cold couscous with sliced sausages, and a cake with such a strong yeast taste that it was impossible to eat. The same employee was working reception and the kitchen, which made the place feel poorly organized.

The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple too, though they served plenty. We were warmly welcomed by polite, well-trained staff.
