There’s a major shopping mall just around the corner, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The food and staff were nice, and I had great service overall. I’d definitely book again. My one small letdown was the reception phones: after 10pm I had questions about using my media device with the TV in my room, but nobody answered, even though the hotel promises 24-hour reception calls.

The pool area needs some attention. The water was dirty, so I didn’t swim. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a very central spot close to the mall.

Breakfast is included, it’s very good, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The staff were professional and helpful without hovering, and the lobby is attractive and modern. My room was modern, comfortable, and well equipped. The hotel seems geared mostly toward business travelers, but families and couples fit in well too. It’s in Pina, near the bridge and not far from the beach. I had an excellent stay, would consider coming back to Recife, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city or Brazil’s Northeast.
