Pousada Martito

The room was nice and breakfast was really good, one of the best pousadas I’ve stayed in. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and even though we don’t speak Portuguese, they made us feel comfortable and gave us a really nice experience. Thank you!

Eduardo, the owner, and his wife were so kind to us. My girlfriend and I stayed a few days ago and had a wonderful time. The place was very clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly from the start. Check-in was quick and easy. There are two pools, one heated, plus a jacuzzi, and lovely loungers by the pool. The bar serves drinks and food around the clock at excellent prices. If you want something different, they have flyers for good places that deliver to the inn. Breakfast has plenty of variety, with new things to choose from most days. It’s well located, about 10 minutes from Rua das Pedras and the most famous beaches. One thing to keep in mind is the very steep hill. It may not suit an older person unless you arrange for a vehicle to take them up. The air conditioners work well but are a bit noisy, though nothing serious. Honestly, it’s a 10/10. I wanted to leave a longer review because we had such a lovely stay. Best wishes to you all, and I hope you have a great visit.

The common areas are beautiful, and the whole pousada is very “instagrammable” if you like taking photos. It’s a lovely place with parking, very close to Rua das pedras and the beach, and the value is excellent. The staff are kind and polite. Breakfast is great, simple but with lots of variety. The only thing to keep in mind is that my room had a little dust, nothing serious, but it could be a problem for someone allergic like me. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
