Hotel Dunas e Lençóis

Unfortunately, my family wasn’t happy with the place. The service was just okay, and breakfast was very poor. The parking area was small, so my car had to stay outside the pousada for two nights in a row. The rooms were badly finished, with loose floor tiles, a broken electric shower, and doors that wouldn’t close properly. The most unbelievable part was the “double bed”, which was just two single beds pushed together. We’ll never stay at this hotel or pousada again!

The staff provided excellent service, but the pousada itself left a lot to be desired. The room had no chair, the shower dripped, and the location wasn’t good. They don’t provide anything like water in the minibar or other drinks. The bed was awful, like it had old springs, the breakfast was very poor and careless with no choices, and the pillow was extremely flat. The air conditioning was new and worked well, but they need to improve their service. Not worth it!

The room was spacious enough for five of us, and the towels were new. We had comfortable bedding and a good-quality bed, plus an electric shower with a good spray. The split air conditioner worked well and was quiet. Staff courtesy is another strong point, and breakfast had a good range, including juices, cakes, tapioca, couscous, and fruit. I also liked the soap, which smelled like “Gelol.” They work with a tour agency for trips to the lençóis, and I recommend the Lagoa Bonita trip. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that the cleaning wasn’t very thorough.

The breakfast was decent, nothing fancy and not much variety, and the place is near the center, though too far to walk. The rest was rough: there was no water for a shower, and when it came back it smelled bad. The old bed had noisy springs, guests couldn't control the air conditioning, the TV didn't work, and the pool was too dirty to use.
