The studio was spotless, comfortable, and the check-in details over chat and WhatsApp were really helpful. We travel to Bauru often, and this was our first stay at xavi studio after it was recommended to us. It’s highly rated on the booking platform and here too, so I was sorry not to be able to give five stars. I’d booked just one night because we had personal things to sort out and needed to get back on the road. We’d worked all day, arrived around 11 p.m., and planned to sleep until 10 since checkout was at 11. We’d also taken pain medicine that makes us sleepy. The air conditioning stopped in the middle of the night, and the room got very hot. We spent more than 40 minutes trying to fix it before it finally started cooling again. That alone wouldn’t keep me from coming back. I liked the place and how convenient it was, and air conditioning can have problems. What really upset me was the noise and the lack of consideration in the morning. The studio asks guests to keep things quiet from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., and we followed that rule. At 8, the cleaning worker started in the next room. It sounded less like cleaning and more like construction: she banged things hard against the wall by our headboard, dragged the bed over five times, and kept knocking on the walls. We were exhausted and just wanted to rest before travelling again. My husband politely asked her to make a little less noise. Her expression changed, and she answered loudly, “Oh, is it because of the noise?” She sounded surprised that we’d asked, even though it was so loud. After that, she made even more noise against the walls, pushed something around, parked the cleaning cart by the bathroom window and rattled the mops and brooms, then went to the other room, where it got worse. I was disappointed that the respect we showed wasn’t returned. I hope management addresses this with the worker and trains staff to respect guests and the quiet hours, just as guests are expected to do. If checkout is at 11 and check-in at 3, that seems like the time to clean and prepare the room without disturbing people. We’re paying to stay there, after all. I would have returned despite the air conditioning issue, because I liked the place and travel to Bauru regularly, but after what happened today I won’t. I hope they sort it out. Thanks for your attention.

The room was in great shape when we arrived, and the location worked well. I stayed six days, though, and would have liked the room cleaned at least every two or three days. My room had a minibar but no microwave, which I missed during a longer stay. I saw that some rooms have a stove, microwave, and minibar, so it would be useful if all rooms had that option. Mine did have parking, but not every room does, and guests without a space have to leave their cars on the street. The internet worked perfectly, the TV had lots of channels, movies, and series, and there was a little coffee setup with complimentary coffee, sugar, and cookies.

The bathroom was clean, the shower was fantastic, and everything felt new and well kept. It’s also quiet at night, so it’s easy to get a good night’s sleep. I’ve found the place I’ll stay whenever I come to visit my relatives. I recommend it!

A really pleasant place, with complete security and everything you need for a great stay.

It met my expectations. The room is basic, but fair for the price, and it was clean, comfortable, and everything worked.
