A really pleasant place and great value for money. The neighborhood feels family-oriented, and there are several nearby restaurants for different budgets. It also feels in tune with the natural setting of the freshwater beaches on Ilha de Mosqueiro.

Terrible. I can’t recommend it. The hosts were rude and had no manners when dealing with people. The place was awful and dirty. There are other excellent inns and five-star hotels in Belém.

They charged us 150 reais for one night, with no breakfast, no minibar, and construction going on. At that price, it felt like an inn, not a hostel. In the Northeast, 150 gets you an excellent inn with breakfast. This place isn’t worth going to.

The shared outdoor areas are spacious, tidy, and well ventilated, with both covered and open sections, and can comfortably fit several people. The accommodation is good too, with fairly new appliances in good condition and bathrooms that are new and well maintained. The location is good as well.

Playa Paraíso is an excellent place. The host is wonderful, friendly, and always ready to offer guidance. It’s affordable, immaculate, and highly recommended.
