Hotel Santa Clara B

It looked acceptable on the booking platform I use, and I chose it because it was near the airport. I was welcomed warmly, though almost as if they were apologizing. The neighborhood was awful, dirty, and felt very dangerous. Women, avoid this place at any cost. The room was filthy and smelled strongly of mold. There was hair in the bathroom, stuff stuck to the window, a disgusting bed, and a ruined sheet. There was something left under the bed, with ants all over it. I could barely get the room open because the key jammed. The towel they gave me was almost falling apart, and even the water smelled bad. I left that night and found another hotel because I couldn't bear to sleep there. I didn't stay for breakfast, so I can't comment on it, but I wouldn't have felt comfortable eating there. After reading reports here about lots of cockroaches, it makes sense. Anyone who rated this place well must live in a dump, it's hard to believe otherwise.

Breakfast was served in a small room with dirty tables, and there were lots of cockroaches in the area. The room had cockroaches too, and mold on the walls. The bathroom had no electric shower, and turning on the shower and hand basin brought an unbearable sewer smell. The water tasted questionable, not even fit for brushing my teeth. I stayed one night, never again.

I checked in around 11 pm on the 20th of September. The receptionist immediately asked what time I was leaving, which seemed odd because I had booked a night and checkout was until noon. I said I needed to leave at 5:30 in the morning for my flight. He fiddled with the room keys and gave me room 205. It looked like something from a horror movie: mold all over the walls, a dirty and stained bedspread, stained pillowcases, yellow marks on the white towels, a broken AC, and a very poor bathroom. Luckily, the AC remote didn't work, so I went downstairs to ask about it and he gave me another room. That one was acceptable. The only good thing about this hotel is its location very close to the airport. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Zero stars otherwise.

The room smelled bad and had a leak on the floor, which already showed a mark from it. There was a musty smell too, so the place seems old. The staff and location were good, and the price was good. It's near the airport.
