Just average.

The bathroom in our room was disgusting: the toilet wouldn’t flush, there was lots of hair in the drain, and cockroaches were coming out everywhere. The staff were rude, and the place was filthy. We booked this awful place to be near the docks before heading to Marajó the next day, but we’d have been much better off getting one decent night’s sleep somewhere else. Horrible. Stay away.

A dreadful night here. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the shower was cold, and the bathroom had a huge nest of cockroaches. The service was awful too. Be careful, don’t stay here.

We left after six hours, and only stayed that long because it was the middle of the night and we had nowhere else to go. We’d warned them we were arriving overnight, but the night guard wasn’t expecting us and was rude from the start. The room was awful, with moldy walls and water damage. The bathroom got completely soaked, and there was just one already-used bar of soap. We had no towels; when we asked, we were told, “Who travels without towels?!” The towels we got were damp, straight from the clothesline, and unusable. The air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no minibar. They also don’t accept cards, even though I booked through Booking.com, where it said they did.
