My night at Ovibe party hostel was the worst accommodation experience I've had. The manager came across as arrogant and unpleasant, and I couldn't bring myself to speak with her while I was there. There was a party that evening, with loud music in the dorms until 2 am. No one warned me, so I couldn't get to sleep until well into the night. The price also felt far too high for what you get and the atmosphere. If you're a teenager or a princess and don't mind waiting ages in a line at the bar, maybe it's for you. Otherwise, I'd stay away.

Daniel and his staff are doing a good job at Ovibe. It's a cosy spot in Bélem, in a popular neighborhood, with friendly people who are happy to help. The coffee is great, and the lunch buffet changes daily and always has plenty to choose from. There are dinner options too, plus live music and room to dance. Good vibes and energy come together easily here. I highly recommend it.

Such a nice little boutique-style hostel. The decor and atmosphere won me over, and I slept comfortably. Had a delicious shiitake burger for dinner too 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
