Cepel Suites

Daniel and Antônio welcomed us very warmly. The bathroom could use soap, a bin, and a towel, and we were woken in the morning by people talking and laughing near the room. I also felt awkward asking someone to open the gate, and a bit lost when I arrived. A reception would help. Even with those issues, we were treated so well. Daniel got soap for me as soon as I asked and was always checking on our comfort. I only needed somewhere to sleep, as I wasn’t there to sightsee, and I’d definitely come back. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time, though I wish we could have stayed longer. We watched an equestrian championship and loved it. The staff were attentive, respected our privacy, and were ready to help whenever needed. Daniel was a great host, and I loved Deusa, the woman who runs the snack bar. It was well worth it, and I already miss the place. I plan to come back.

There’s plenty of space, parking, and free access to the haras, so it could be great for families with kids. It wasn’t bad, and it felt a bit like an Airbnb to me. But Cepel isn’t really a hotel. It’s a haras with an improvised “hotel,” so if you’re looking for a hotel, I don’t recommend it.

I really liked our stay. I came with a two year old, and there was lots of space to walk around, a little pig to see, and horses too. The shared kitchen was really good. Great value for money!
