10/10
From the 20th floor, the views were lovely, and Belo Horizonte really is a beautiful, modern city. My room at Cheverny was clean and had good facilities.

The place is very central and close to the airport shuttle stop. The staff were friendly, and both rooms were a good deal overall. In the first apartment, the phone didn’t work, and there was a wall rack by the bed mounted so low that we both bumped our heads within the first 20 minutes. We asked to switch rooms. The replacement had no rack, and its phone worked. Both apartments had gas stoves that wouldn’t light automatically, and they didn’t provide matches for free. So there was technically a stove, but it was unusable unless you went out to buy matches or a lighter. Weird. The air-conditioning was a little noisy, though it helped keep the traffic noise tolerable.

It’s in a very good spot, with restaurants nearby and an airport bus. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable and well equipped.

For the price, it’s a good place. The food wasn’t that great, and there were translation problems on the menu.

Getting to the airport was easy, and the location is nice.
