For the price, I had a great stay. The room has enough space to feel like an apartment, which worked well for a couple when one of us wanted to watch TV and the other needed to work. It was clean, and most of the staff were friendly, though one wasn't. Breakfast had a good selection of juices, fruit, breads, and cakes.

The air conditioning in the room was loud, and the neighborhood got very noisy at night, with bars and restaurants all around. Housekeeping asked each day whether I wanted the room cleaned, even though cleaning was already paid for.

Breakfast was good and the stay was okay, but this hotel didn't work well for our family. Because we have two daughters, my husband and I had to stay in separate rooms on separate floors. The hotel wouldn't let all of us stay in the same room.

It looked nice at first, but the problems added up. I was first quoted more than the price I expected. The apartments are advertised with kitchens, but ours couldn't be used because they aren't switched on by design, reportedly due to a fire brigade prohibition. Calling that a kitchen feels like false advertising. The internet was so slow I couldn't work, make WhatsApp calls, or watch even low quality YouTube. This is a hotel that promotes itself for home office use. Reviews show the connection problem has been known for years, and it wasn't fixed after I complained several times to reception. It's hard to believe a business hotel wouldn't invest in sorting this out. I won't come back.

In Cidade Nova, BH, the location is great, with wonderful restaurants just behind the hotel. It's very functional and covers everything a traveler might need.
