My mother and I stayed at Pousada and were amazed by its facilities. The rooms had clean bedding, a TV with lots of channels, and a very hot shower. Shampoo and conditioner were also available. Breakfast was filling and nutritious, with something for every taste. The architecture caught my attention most. Every decorative detail, from the furniture to the pictures and objects on display, refers to the history of Minas Gerais in the 18th century. Instead of number labels, the rooms are named after towns in the interior of Minas Gerais. It feels like a lovely and well-deserved tribute to our beautiful, enchanting "Gerais," and a beautiful way for the inn's management to express it. P.S. We'll be back again.

The way my cancellation request was handled left me completely disappointed. I booked through Booking because of the good reviews, and they first tried to charge me outside the platform, saying I had to pay by Pix, though I’ve always paid through Booking by credit card. Two days after the free-cancellation deadline, health problems meant I needed to cancel. I explained the situation and asked whether they could waive the fee, but got irony and unnecessary jokes in response. It felt like a total lack of care and respect. I wouldn’t recommend this inn to anyone, and I hope they rethink their values. God bless.

Everything was so thoughtfully cared for, down to the little details. From the service to the comfort, it all made a difference and made my stay at pousada caminhos de Minas wonderful. If you want somewhere to relax and feel at home, I definitely recommend it.

We left and went to another hotel. The room was tiny, and there was no soundproofing between rooms, so you wake up to noise every morning. It was clean, but I wouldn’t trust the photos and reviews if you need somewhere truly comfortable. We’d booked the place based on those good reviews, and were already exhausted from work, needing to leave at 4 the next morning. A group talked extremely loudly right outside our room from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. There was no number to call reception, so at 9 p.m. I went there myself. The owner was in the group and said the noise was allowed until 10. She gave me a very cynical look for asking to rest, acted like she’d ask them to stop, but they carried on for another hour as if nothing had changed. That was the last straw.
