After I checked out, I realized I’d left my headphones behind. The staff helped find them and get them back to me, which I really appreciated. I stayed at Woods Hostel for two nights after arriving in Belo Horizonte, felt at home, and had a great time. I’d recommend staying here when you visit Belo Horizonte.

The staff made me feel at home. They were friendly, attentive, and clearly cared about my experience, and I liked that the guests came from all sorts of backgrounds. The place was clean, had a warm atmosphere, and the location was fantastic. I had two small suggestions for a future visit. The wooden entrance stairs are a bit slippery, so some traction would help. My room faced the main street, where noise started around 6 am; better soundproofing would make it easier to rest. I finally got to stay at Woods Hostel in Pampulha for my 39th birthday after wanting to visit the nearby UNESCO site for years. The hostel was perfectly located, right across from it. I’ll definitely stay at Woods Hostel again when I return to Belo Horizonte in the years ahead.

The setup is beautiful, but there’s just one hamburgeria within walking distance. Having to take an Uber just to get food isn’t great.

The wooden house has a nice aesthetic, with a neoclassical blend and an 80s feel. It’s a very good place, with a pool and good breakfast. Visit and see for yourself ❤️

The location right by the lake is wonderful, and the staff were friendly. I felt well looked after during my stay. They also sell ready meals, drinks, and snacks at reception, which is super convenient.
