We especially enjoyed the restaurant, Maialetto Do, where the Portuguese Bairrada-style suckling pig is a must if you like pork. For sunset, head to Esplanada Gaúcha, the terrace attached to the restaurant. We skipped the harmonized sunset package since it was just wine and charcuterie, and ordered à la carte instead to enjoy the view. The hotel is close to some lovely wineries, and the views from the property are spectacular. The staff were all very friendly. If you can, book a room at the front for the best views. We splurged on the recently renovated Royal Suite and loved it. It was a very enjoyable stay.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, just visited the spa, and I’d absolutely recommend it. The massage was great, and the pools and jacuzzi were first class. Service was excellent too. I’d happily come back.

We had room 509, facing the beautiful vineyards, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us happy. Adan at the front desk, who’s from Ireland, speaks English and helped us a lot. Jennifer, the restaurant manager, and her team made the experience outstanding. The breakfast was a treat, with as much sparkling wine and mimosas as you wanted, alongside high-quality Miolo products. We also enjoyed a sunset at the “Vale dos Vinhedos” with paired food and drinks and DJ music, plus a couples massage at the luxury spa using pure olive seed oil. This was my second visit, and I’ll definitely return. It’s an amazing hotel in the Vale dos Vinhedos and worth every dollar you can spend there.

The pianist during dinner was amazing. The meal itself was a little expensive for what they offer, though it wasn’t bad. I also had a day at the spa and came away feeling brand new. A weekend in Bento Gonçalves is worth it, and the hotel is quite good.
