Great place.

The beach gate, good pool, and helpful service were highlights, and the place has air conditioning, a fan, a good fridge, two bathrooms, and a laundry area. It also provides beach chairs and an umbrella. For a short stay, it’s generally fine, but there’s a lot of maintenance needed to justify the price. The double mattress is too small and should be replaced. The kitchen cupboards and utensils urgently need refreshing. The walls and furniture make the space feel dark, so I’d suggest painting them a light color, like white. A small balcony for a hammock would be nice, and the barbecue area feels too enclosed. There’s only a small stove, enough for quick meals, and the TV has few open channels. The bathroom taps need repair. The internet connects, but pages wouldn’t load, so we used our own data. There are plastic benches in the kitchen.

The downside came in the last two nights: two dogs in the neighboring chalet barked and whined all night, and some people were very noisy with a wild child. Still, it’s a family friendly place and I’d recommend it. We stayed in the chalet from 13/01/26 to 20/01, after getting poor service at the Cantinho oriental next door. We loved the chalet. It’s comfortable, fully equipped, and spread over two floors, with two very clean bathrooms and a wonderful shower. The bedding and towels were spotless. There’s air conditioning, a fan, a well laid out and cozy space, and a complete kitchen with a stove, fridge, and dishes for guests, so you just bring food and cook. There’s also room out back to wash clothes, a hammock at the entrance, and lovely, well cared for gardens. The pool and water slide were great, and it’s about 50 meters from the beach. The service was excellent.

I enjoyed my weekend stay. It was easy to get to the beach, the pool was lovely, and the air conditioning and bed and bath linens were all in order.
