Two days before our stay, I booked directly with Renata, the manager or owner, and confirmed that everything was set. But on the day, while my wife, our 7-year-old daughter and I were already on the way in the Serra, I was told our reservation had been lost to a site they partner with. She kept saying they were small compared with the site. It seems they'll keep this incompetent, useless manager who can't even manage bookings. I understand she chose to ruin a family's weekend rather than risk a problem with her contract with the site. At the very least, she should have done more than send a message with proof of the refund transfer. I'll definitely be hating on this Recanto for the next few months, but with good reason, not just talking without knowing what I'm talking about.
