Pousada Recanto Bertioga

The location makes getting around easy, with access to the avenue, town center, and highways, and the beach is just two blocks away. It was clean there, with a wide beach, several kiosks, and a nearby lifeguard station. At the inn, the two person room was comfortable, with air conditioning, a new shower, a glass shower enclosure, and nice finishes. Breakfast was good, with fruit, yogurt, bread, and more. The place itself is comfortable, but the attentive reception staff really stood out. They were well prepared and made sure orders were right and guests felt comfortable.

We stayed from January 24 to 27, 2025, just the two of us. Alexandre was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had forgotten our towels, and he lent us a set for free; he also let us check in early at no extra charge. The room and pool were very clean, and everything felt quiet and well organized. Individual garages and the beach nearby made the location convenient. Breakfast tasted good and was high quality, though I wished there had been more variety, especially fruit jams and homemade cakes. A few small things could be better: there was a little step into the bathroom that I could easily trip over, the shower pressure was somewhat low, and the shelf under the mirror was crooked, so things wouldn't stand upright on it. Still, we had an excellent stay at Pousada Recanto Bertioga. It's comfortable and peaceful, with good service, and I'd stay again.

The pool was great, and the place was extremely quiet. Signs everywhere ask guests to keep quiet after 9 pm and ban speakers, so it's a good fit if you want peace near the beach. Alexandre was lovely and very helpful, lending us two towels for free when we'd forgotten ours. The rooms surprised me with how clean and comfortable they were, though they could use more useful storage for luggage and clothes. On the second floor, the water pressure was very low, and the bathroom needs maintenance. Maybe cleaning the plumbing would help. Breakfast was organized, with fruit cut that day, but I would have liked more choices. I admit I hadn't checked what was included beforehand.

The beach is only a five minute walk away, the street is paved, and there's nearby shopping for food. The large pool was clean, and the parking was very good. Breakfast was okay apart from the rubbery cheese bread. The room, though, was tiny, with nowhere to hang towels, damp clothes, or toilet paper. The mattress and pillows made sleeping uncomfortable. The air conditioner in my room didn't work, and it was old and in poor shape, so I was very hot. The shower was just as rough, with low flow and no temperature control, either scalding hot or cold.
