Santa Hospedaria Beach

Silvia and Alberto were very friendly, and they let us check in early. The place is cozy and peaceful, close to Riviera beach, and the kitchen has all the utensils you need. We’ll definitely come back.

Everything was great. The room was spacious and very clean, and the owners were so attentive, sharing tips about beaches and restaurants. Pets are very welcome too!

The mattresses were hard, and the shower had weak water pressure. I paid for the extra damage my dog caused to the curtain, but at no point did I feel welcome. The blanket already had a tear when we arrived, and the curtain was torn too. When we returned from the beach to leave, the hosts immediately brought up the additional tear my dog had made. I mentioned the blanket, but the hostess lost her temper and said we hadn’t been good guests. She also said my dog had peed in the house, though I cleaned it with water right afterward. The whole argument at checkout was unpleasant, and she was disrespectful to my family. I found her intolerant and rude. We felt almost as if we’d been kicked out, and I didn’t feel at home or find the hosts welcoming. This was such a disappointing experience, and there’s a lot that could be improved. I’d been thinking about visiting the inn for months and finally chose it because we usually stay in Riviera. When we arrived, the welcome wasn’t what I expected. The place itself was okay and the rooms were clean. We brought our very attached Shitzu, and since the place described itself as pet-friendly, we left him there while we went to the beach. He got a little restless and barked. We left the air conditioning on for his comfort, but the hosts switched it off without our permission. I’ve never had anything like this happen before. I have the highest rating on Airbnb, so I feel I ran into hosts who were unprepared and rude. I wouldn’t recommend it, even though I can recommend plenty of other places I’ve stayed.

The place won me over, and I’ll definitely return. During the Carnival days, my stay was perfect from start to finish. It was peaceful and great for relaxing, and accepting pets made a huge difference. My little ones could wander and play on the lawn without any restrictions. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, peace, and wonderful service.
