The bed was hard, which some people might like, but I was surprised when I sat down expecting it to bounce. The window wouldn’t close, and I had some wildlife come in. The bathroom had one of those electric showers that seem common in Brazilian hostels, but they’re not very pleasant to use. The location looks central, but there’s no bridge nearby, so it’s actually farther from everything than it appears. Check-in felt very strange. The guy there had no idea about my reservation, though he didn’t question me when I said I’d booked and paid. He didn’t seem to have access to the system himself either. Communication was difficult. I can get by in Portuguese, but he spoke very fast and didn’t make much effort to articulate or slow down. He didn’t show me the common areas, so I wasn’t sure what I could use. There also seemed to be nobody else staying at the hostel, so it wasn’t very social. Some guys arrived as I was leaving and seemed lost, with nobody showing them where they’d be staying.

I visited once with my college for a social project, and the place felt simply wonderful, so calm and peaceful. The service was incredible too. The owner is very attentive, and you can feel the care and affection she puts into her work. I highly recommend it!

The team seems very attentive, patient, and caring, treating each person as an individual. You can see the dedication and respect in all the details. Morada Jardim de Lótus gives families a sense of safety and comfort, and offers older residents a calm, clean, well cared for setting with plenty of contact with nature. It feels welcoming, with genuine care for the elderly, and that makes a real difference to their well-being.

If there were more than five stars, I’d definitely give them! My dad is being so well cared for. No amount of money in the world could pay for the affection and care he gets there at Morada. I’m grateful to God for bringing you into our lives! ❤️ @jeanewoz
