Being close to Vila Germânica was a real plus. We could walk everywhere, and the staff were polite and often attentive. I stayed at Hotel Villano with my mother while I was in Blumenau for a competition. Still, there were several things that need attention, so on another visit I'd probably choose somewhere else. Our room had a balcony, but its door had only one lock, which didn't make us feel very secure. The blanket had stains that looked like blood. We didn't ask for a replacement, but housekeeping didn't notice them either. Cleaning was quite late on two days, and there was dirt in the room, including large ants and what looked like a beetle. I had to deal with the insects several times. There was also a lot of dust behind the headboard, as if that area hadn't had a thorough clean. Breakfast was simple, with little variety and some food that didn't look very appetizing. Service there was hit or miss, with some staff attentive and others less so. Parking costs extra, which adds to the total stay. We also missed having better access security for the floors, since anyone can take the elevator to the rooms. There was only one elevator, and it caused delays at times. That could be a bigger issue when the hotel is busy. Overall, the stay was good in some ways, especially for the location and the staff, but there were quite a few things to improve.

The beds were comfortable, with long mattresses and soft pillows. The Villano is the kind of place that makes you happy to stay, and even tempted to extend your visit. Breakfast was excellent, with an unusual range and quality: cappuccino, drip coffee, coffee with milk, proteins, pasta, desserts, fresh juice, fruit, and more. It's under five minutes on foot from Vila Germânica, and close to Parque Ramiro, a good spot for walking, running, and other sports.

The chefs welcomed us with so much care, and we ate until we could barely move. We were surprised by how good the quality and hospitality were. The hotel offers great value, and the breakfast was spectacular, with care put into every detail.

The rooms were very clean, the towels smelled fresh, and the staff were so attentive. Villano Hotel is also in an excellent location and serves a wonderful breakfast. I'd suggest adding a full-length mirror and a foldable luggage rack to the rooms.

It's a very good three-star hotel, whether you're just passing through or visiting Blumenau. The room is compact but very clean and tidy, and breakfast is excellent, with lots of bread, eggs, bacon, cakes, and fruit. The hotel is good value overall. A few things could use attention. The bathroom sink has no hot water, which does matter in winter. A second elevator would help, especially since reception is on the third floor rather than the ground floor. The parking service, which I think is outsourced, needs at least some customer service training. C'est la vie.
