I changed rooms three times and eventually gave up. The hotel is very outdated, and the air conditioning barely works. When it does run, it's as loud as a tractor. The gym is run-down, and the hallway on the way to the room is sauna-hot. This was one of the most miserable hotel stays I've had in more than 20 trips through Brazil. It should be labeled a budget hotel, not four-star.
6/10
We arrived at 13:00 straight from our flight for the first night of our honeymoon, but our room wasn't ready at the regular check-in time. As Gold members, we hadn't received early check-in, a room upgrade or even a welcome note, despite contacting the hotel beforehand to request this. We waited at the restaurant next door, then came back to the lobby to ask about the room. It still wasn't ready, so we waited another 15 minutes. Other hotels have acknowledged special occasions, but not this one. It was disappointing at the start of a special trip.
4/10
One of the AC units in our large room didn't work, the window frame was broken, and the power outlet in the room was dead. They don't provide water for the rooms either. The only option was to drink from the gym filter. The place felt like a two-star hotel, and I won't return.
10/10
The room was really comfortable, and the staff were so kind. I definitely recommend staying here.
10/10
A nice hotel to stay at, though slippers were the one thing I really missed in the room.
