Hotel Fazenda Rota dos Cânions

Top!

The place is very beautiful and the service was exceptional, but we were deeply saddened by how the dogs are cared for. They were unwashed and matted, and they looked very thin despite their coats. This is awful. I'm appealing to future guests to be concerned and speak up in some way.

The only thing I'd improve is the games room, which is a bit run-down, though I didn't even use it because there was so much else to do. We had an excellent summer holiday here, even catching a night when it was 10 degrees. The regional scenery is beautiful, and the place itself is incredible, with exceptional service and very comfortable rooms. There's horseback riding, quad biking, a pool, and a campfire, plus a restaurant with incredible dinner dishes. It's near the canyons and the center of Bom Jardim da Serra. A real find, and one of the best hotel stays I've had in Brazil.

The team is excellent, attentive, and kind. We've stayed at the hotel twice and enjoyed it a lot. For breakfast, I'd suggest adding more fruit, bread, and cake options. There are also only a few horses and quad bikes, which isn't enough for a big family.
