Hello MT Pousada

I loved how Dina and Janaína treated me. Their warm service made a simple pousada feel like home, and I also loved their little dog Thor. The breakfast was delicious, the bed comfortable, and my room had air conditioning. There’s a pool that’s great for cooling off in the Mato Grosso heat, plus a kitchen guests can use.

The pousada was spotless and well organized, and breakfast had all the essentials, fresh and tasty. The whole team, including the owner, was very caring and attentive, and did everything they could to make guests comfortable. I highly recommend it!

I stayed in 06/2023 and found the service to be the standout. Everyone was friendly and attentive, sharing useful information about tours, attractions, local restaurants, and other tips. The pousada is inside the Vila, so it’s quick to reach places to eat after a full day out, and it’s about equally far from the main attractions. They also run the Hello MT travel agency, where you can book and buy access to tours. Most need to be arranged ahead because spaces are limited and start times are fixed. Still, they didn’t pressure me to book anything. I wanted a short, restful break without spending much, and they understood and even gave me tips that suited that. Highly recommended.

When I arrived, I felt like I’d been misled. The room lacked basic things, the beds were so close there was barely room to walk between them, and although the reservation was for three people, there were only two beds. I felt disrespected because the owner didn’t come introduce herself or explain the situation. I can’t recommend it.
